The Standard - 8 Week Program
Learn the SAT with expert guidance. 100+ guaranteed point increase.
Service Description
Eight 90 minute sessions over eight weeks. Custom prepared materials every session for questions you miss on your practice tests. Individually curated official SAT questions to further reinforce areas of weakness. The Process: In each session, we'll go over problems that were missed from the official SAT practice tests. We'll identify the underlying cause of each missed answer, and learn the correct way to address each problem. For particularly challenging concepts, we’ll curate custom problem sets, composed of official SAT practice questions, to work through together to turn key areas of weakness into easy SAT points. Between sessions, students will take either a full or half length practice test. This serves the double purpose of solidifying advancements made during sessions, and confirming that you are on the right track with your SAT studying. We’re 100% confident in the process: If you aren’t 100% satisfied with Brian as an outstanding educator, you can cancel for a full refund before your second session. This timing allows you to take a practice test after the first session and use those test results to inform your decision. Scheduling: The Standard’s recommended schedule is once per week in the eight weeks preceding your test day. Book a video consultation or give Brian a call at 781-801-6055 to ask any questions about the program and to find a time that fits your schedule. During the consultation, we’ll go over the syllabus and discuss what goes into studying for the SAT. Each week, between sessions, students will spend 1.5 - 2.5 hours taking a practice test. Students may also study and may choose to do extra practice problems, memorize SAT vocabulary words. This means students will be adding 3-4 hours of work (or more) to their weekly schedule with the program. As an educator, Brian helps students maintain a positive attitude through this process with high energy sessions focused on targeted improvement, positive reinforcement, and weekly data to prove that students are on the right track.
